CHROME WAVES EXEMPLIFY THEIR MIDWEST POST-BLACK METAL ON LATEST MUSIC VIDEO!
Today Midwest post-black metal operatives CHROME WAVES release the third single and music video from their album, ‘Earth Will Shed Its Skin,’ out April 28th. Check out “Broken” now at all streaming/download platforms and watch the video HERE
"’Broken’ is a song that's been in our demo folder for a couple years now,” explains guitarist Jeff Wilson. “For some reason it just never fit into the tracklist on a proper album until now. It's definitely got the vibe of our earlier material, which was something we were aiming for this time; it's also the perfect closer for this record."
“Broken,” which Metal Injection described as “apparently it’s not gloomy enough outside, and that bleakness needs to invade your headphones as well,” follows two earlier listens into the new album – “The Nail” and “Under the Weight of a Billion Souls," which teased audiences with the group’s forward-thinking amalgamation of influences into something uniquely their own. Combining key elements of CHROME WAVES’ sound, you’ll be entranced by the traditional and modern black metal aspects, while venturing into more ambient and alternative moments that pull you in balancing the light and darkness of their sound.
