Following months of anticipation and two lead singles, Undercroft has officially released its new studio album, “The Killer Sword”. Issued via NB Extreme Recordings, the record marks the return of the band's original vocalist, Tito Melín, to the full-length format, a milestone last seen with the release of “Bonebreaker” in 1997.
Recorded between Chile and Germany, the album is the result of a rigorous technical and compositional process led by founding guitarist Claudio Illanes. Production was handled by Rafael Dobbs, with mixing and mastering by the renowned engineer and musician Martin Furia (Destruction). The resulting nine tracks deliver death metal that sidesteps easy nostalgia in favor of a sharp, contemporary, and aggressive execution.
“The Killer Sword” is now available on all major streaming platforms and in physical format through the label. This release marks the beginning of a new run of live performances in Germany, starting April 24th in Kiel and concluding May 13th in Hamburg.
Album tracklist:
1. Blood Red Sky
2. Scream in Genocide
3. The Killer Sword
4. Spirit of Death
5. Towards Death
6. Tower of Silence
7. Mongolian Terror
8. Warrior's Roar
9. The Triumph of Time
