Chaos Unleashed to release "I Am Chaos"

Chaos Unleashed was formed by Marc and Rob just before 2020. Because of the experience being in former bands like Sad Iron, Jackal, Dominion and Angus we were quick to know what we being in former bands like Sad Iron, Jackal, Dominion and Angus we were quick to know what we wanted and our play together as musicians. Influenced by German thrash bands like Kreator, Destruction and Sodom the music exists of hard and aggressive riffs that combined with catchy riffs and sometimes a chorus where the audience can sing along. Chaos Unleashed therefore delivers an aggressive and yet catchy style of thrash metal you don’t hear very often and is therefore quite unique in the current landscape of thrash metal bands.

The Covid Pandemic made it difficult to find a drummer and to hold auditions. This period fortunately did make it possible to keep writing songs and make demo’s out of them so we could have a flying start when we’ve found our drummer. At the end of the pandemic there where 5 songs completely finished and ready to play.

The search for a drummer ended when we found Sander Spoor. Sander also plays guitar besides drums and therefore understands the riffs and the intention behind the riffs better than any other drummer. Sander has a diverse background in terms of metal styles being in bands like Yaotzin, Fill Bloom and Claustrophobia which makes him a perfect addition to the band.

In November 2022 we played our debut gig and had many more successful gigs after that. Every time we play the crowd is going insane and has a blazing enthusiasm which means we are doing the right thing!

We choose not to record an EP for our first production, but to go straight to making a full length album and to do that at an esteemed recording studio. January 2024 we entered the Toneshed studio of Erwin Hermsen where he recorded the latest Legion of the Damned and Deadhead albums.

The album I AM CHAOS was released on the 23rd of august 2024 and has gotten great reviews. The album is approx. 45 min long and contains 10 ferocious tracks! You can listen to the album on Spotify and Apple Music amongst other streaming services.

The promotion of the album got a minor setback when Marcus was rushed to the hospital when he got unwell on stage during a gig on November 9th 2024. Fortunately everything is okay now and Marcus is healthier than ever! We are back on the road harder and heavier than before!!
