Cavada Project unveils ‘Pantheon’

A progressive metal journey into Egyptian myth.

In a music industry dominated by fleeting trends and immediate consumption, Cavada Project doubles down on its artistic manifesto with the release of ‘Pantheon’. This new single -the second track from their highly anticipated inaugural EP, Karma 1- demands a return to the ritual of active listening. For this offering, the progressive metal project delves into the complexities of ancient Egyptian polytheism, using it not merely as a historical tale, but as a critical mirror to examine humanity's present state.

The composition explores the Egyptian pantheon to unravel the constant, historical dialogue between religious structures, science, and reason. For Juan Pablo Cavada, the creative mastermind behind the project, mythology represented mankind's first-ever structured effort to comprehend the cosmic order. ‘Pantheon’ stands as a warning against the dangers of systematic amnesia in modern society, proposing the recovery of myth and historical memory as the ultimate antidotes to an existential void.

Sonically, the track remains uncompromising in Cavada Project's fundamental philosophy: the delicate balance between technical proficiency and raw emotion. The song's progressive complexity serves the narrative exclusively. Through meticulous production work, the project fuses blistering, heavy execution with a modern, digital soundscape, utilizing expansive layers of reverb and delay to construct the deeply mystical atmosphere the concept demands.

Production duties for the single were handled by Danny Barrera at Blinded Productions. The accompanying music video is a collaborative effort directed by José Atacho (Epic Tales Studio) and Ignacio Brossard.
