CASCADE EFFECT (Metal) 'The Weight of Nothingness' new music out January 8, 2027!
Hailing from San Diego (USA), CASCADE EFFECT channels the chaos, weight, and raw emotion of modern heavy music into a sound that is both punishing and deeply melodic. So much so, that they won the Wacken Metal Battle in the USA and went on to perform at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival in Europe soon after. The band’s latest full-length album The Weight of Nothingness thrives on the dynamic contrast of crushing low-tuned riffs colliding with soaring melodies, while aggressive vocals shift into emotional hooks with intricate sonic depth. Through this thirteen-track album, the band confronts heavy existential concepts, including mortality, fear, isolation, regret, and the search for profound meaning. The album was engineered and mixed by Matthew Denis (Nothing More, Diamante , Greywind) and mastering was handled by Miro Kiiski (Hypocrisy, PAIN, Beast in Black).
