Greek extreme‑metal stalwarts Caelestia return with Jutland, an unflinching retelling of the largest naval duel of World War I. Razor‑edged riffs, thunderous blast beats and haunting melodic passages evoke the clash that claimed nearly 10,000 lives between 31 May and 1 June 1916.
“Jutland lets listeners stand on a battleship deck, feeling every cannon blast and every human heartbeat,” says vocalist Pantelis “Lordwinter” Daskalelos. “It’s the next step after Reflection of the Beast—deeper, darker and even more cinematic.”
PRODUCTION & VISUALSAudio — Jutland was mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios, whose résumé spans Machine Head and Immolation.

CONTEXT & ALBUM ROADMAPCaelestia’s shift toward an extreme‑metal hybrid began with 2024’s independently released Infernalia EP, later issued on CD via Wormholedeath Records.April 2025’s single “Reflection of the Beast” introduced the forthcoming album’s thematic mix of historical horror and melodic savagery; Jutland now deepens that narrative while setting the stage for the full‑length’s late‑2025 arrival.
