It was a dark and stormy night, one summers eve in 2016, when five men gathered at a beer festival hosted by a gothic former Sanatorium in South London. Their purpose, to select beers for the wedding of one of their party. As the night progressed and the

ales flowed, someone in the party (no one remembers exactly who) realised they should take advantage of their status as vaguely competent musicians living varying shades of the rock n’ roll life and play a show for the Stag Do. A few more rounds embellishing

the stylistic concepts arrived on a Satyr theme, and it was decided that nothing less than a European Festival would suffice. Doom supergroup Bleeding Antlers was born.

After a handful of rehearsals and some rough demos, the dream became a reality and no one quite knew how they found themselves on this driverless juggernaut. Sensing mischief was in the air, Hobgoblin Beer engaged with the band to produce a

documentary, charting their journey from their debut London show to playing the main stage of a European Festival, getting band tattoos, and recording their first single. The rest as they say, is a complete blur... Having had so much fun carousing their way across

Europe, the Antlers pledged an eternal brotherhood by becoming an actual "proper" band. Mixing prog, doom, metal, sleaze and shanties, their debut album ‘Stagmata’was released during the great plague of 2020 to critical acclaim.

In august 2026, the Antlers are releasing their sophomore album 'Songs of Praise' supported by a UK tour, festival dates and all

the goodtimes, all the time
