Portuguese Black Metal entity Grievance returns from the depths of obscurity, with its fifth full-length album, "Lúgubres Devaneios De Abismos E Sombras", set for a vinyl-only release on May 5th, 2026 via Haloran Records and Larvae Records.
Grievance is a Portuguese Black Metal band founded in 1997 by Koraxid and Azarath, becoming the solo band of Koraxid in 2011. "Lúgubres Devaneios De Abismos E Sombras" was conceived and recorded by Koraxid at Axe Farm Studios between July and December 2025, standing as the band's most somber and complete work to date. Rooted in abyssal themes, the album intertwines folklore and empirical experience with oneiric visions, dwelling on the threshold between the tangible and the subliminal. Dark premonitions and wandering reflections permeate its lyrical core, delving into the most obscure aspects of existence — both within and beyond.
The album marks Grievance's confirmation as one of the biggest names in Portuguese Black Metal.
