With Nocturne, Bell Of Mimir emerges from the Finnish underground to deliver a debut steeped in the slow, crushing essence of traditional doom metal. In an era where speed and oversaturation dominate, the band returns to the genre’s core: haunting atmospheres, slow-burning tempos, and rich harmonic depth.

Recorded in Tampere, Finland between 2023 and 2024 by Olli Karhu, and mixed/mastered by Atte Karm, Nocturne is a melancholic and artistically ambitious journey through the shadowy realms of doom. The album artwork, created by Jean Honoré Fragonard, ties the project to classical aesthetics and timeless darkness.
