Neoclassical and darkwave veterans Autumn Tears have announced their new album, “Crown of the Clairvoyant”, set to be released on 22 September via The Circle Music. This new work is a continuation of the concept started with their 2023 album, “Guardian of the Pale”.

Crown of the Clairvoyant” features a fully orchestrated classical ensemble and full choir. The album includes contributions from original Autumn Tears composer, pianist, and lyricist Ted Tringo, classical and opera duet Caroline Joy Clarke and Darren Clarke (Trovatori), singer-songwriter Tamar Singer (Zeresh, Cruel Wonders, Necromishka), and violinist and violist Sanja Smileska. The album also features a guest appearance by Francesca Nicoli from the Italian neoclassical band Ataraxia.

In conjunction with the album announcement, Autumn Tears have released a new video for the song “The Light That Shapes Us”, featuring Caroline Joy Clarke and Sanja Smileska. The video is a rich tapestry of nature and the beauty of the Earth.

The video premiered today via Side-Line Magazine, watch it here: https://www.side-line.com/autumn-tears-the-light-that-shapes-us-video/

Pre-orders for “Crown of the Clairvoyant” are now open. The album will be available as a digital download, a limited CD jewel case package with a CD-exclusive bonus track, and a limited vinyl package which includes a 12-page illustrated lyric book and a vinyl-exclusive bonus track.

Ted Tringo of Autumn Tears commented on the upcoming release: "This album represents a significant undertaking for us, expanding on themes from our previous work with a broader musical palette. We are grateful for the contributions of all the musicians and vocalists involved, and we look forward to sharing 'Crown of the Clairvoyant' with our listeners."

To coincide with the release of the new album, Autumn Tears will also release their 1997 album “Love Poems for Dying Children...Act 2 (The Garden of Crystalline Dreams)” on vinyl for the very first time. Previously, the album was only released on CD and sold over 10,000 units, which was a significant achievement for an independent release with no major label support.

"Love Poems for Dying Children... Act 2 (The Garden of Crystalline Dreams)" is a concept album exploring themes of death, love, and eternity, with a focus on the idea of guiding dying children to a peaceful afterlife. The album features lyrical verses throughout the songs that explore the themes of love and death in a melancholic and poetic way. Some of the lyrics reflect on the sorrow and beauty of watching children fade away, as well as the hope for a better world beyond.
