ASKARA release Dark Night Of The Soul Pt. II

The current lineup of the Swiss band ASKARA says goodbye with three new songs, each of which will be released as singles in the coming months. There will also be a strictly limited CD edition titled "Death! Oh Death!", which can be purchased directly from the band and at upcoming live shows.

"Dark Night Of The Soul Pt. II" is the third single of the song trilogy and will be released on May 16, 2025. The successor to “Dark Night Of The Soul Pt. I” is a slower, more somber ballad to link to the first part - which was released on the album “Lights Of Night” in 2022 - in exploring the dimensions of the drawn-out human journey towards the dawn of meaningfulness and a sense of purpose.

Join us on the journey through the dark night of the soul, where the inner self is confronted with an environment of discomfort and a feeling of estrangement. Fitting in and adapting to the demands of others means to face more and more conflicts with ourselves.

Musically, this ballad offers everything a typical ASKARA ballad needs, focusing on the strong vocal delivery of Miril. We are confident that fans will love it as much as we do.
