Swedish Melodic Death/Black Metal band Anthyr released their debut album «Tidens Famn». The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Markus Kristiansen Seterlund in "Nordblod Studios".
Hailing from the cold landscapes of Sweden, Anthyr is a solo metal project forged at the intersection of atmospheric black metal and melodic death metal. Rejecting modern trends, the project builds expansive, immersive compositions anchored by striking melodies, deep atmosphere, and vivid storytelling. Drawing profound inspiration from Scandinavia's pre-Christian heritage, ancient Norse pantheons, and northern spiritual traditions, Anthyr channels both ferocious aggression and introspective gloom.
