AEONBLACK: New Single and Music Video!
Following the single "Treason", the Southern German metal band AEONBLACK is releasing their second single, "All Has Read", from the upcoming album, “Treason”.
Musically, "All Has Read" is the only track on the album that begins in a calm, solemn manner before building up in intensity and momentum, ultimately taking on a quite thrash-metal feel.
Lyrically, it is the second song – after the title track "Treason" – to explore the world of H. P. Lovecraft. It deals with the life of the "Mad Arab" Abdul Alhazred (pronounced "All Has Read") and the creation – and consequences – of the Necronomicon.
The chorus features a quote from the Necronomicon that also serves as a subtle nod to the band's major influences, Iron Maiden; the same quote appears on the tombstone depicted on the cover of the “Live After Death” album.
