July 7th sees the release of "Aetas Ascensus", the second album by the German black metal horde SERVANT. On the 9 new songs, many things seem more furious and wild than on the debut, but at the same time more melodic and emotional. Lyrically, the album deals with a variety of religious texts, whereby gnosis plays a major role here as well as the politics behind. The album also contains songs about emperors and kings who have fallen prey to madness and have helped to destroy themselves and their empire. The first sample from the 48 min long album, "To Crown A Beast", is now available as a video clip on the MDD Records YouTube channel. The final tracklist of the album is attached. "Aetas Ascensus" is already available for pre-order as CD in stores and some mailorders and will also be released on vinyl a little later in the year. Stay tuned!
