A Galaxy Far, Far Away – Galactic Empire, the galaxy’s favorite metal band, is heading to the Shire with their latest cover song. The band has today shared their searing take on “Lord of the Rings”, out now via Pure Noise Records. On the epic new release, Lord Sihk shares:

"Behold! The mighty Galactic Empire has infiltrated the remote system of Mordor to pay tribute to The Lord of the Rings. This composition is a medley of the iconic themes from the franchise. The powerful Sith Lord Howard Shore has created many defining musical moments throughout the epic film series and The Empire has worked tirelessly to do them justice. We hope to evoke the Dark Lord Sauron with this metallic journey into the heart of Mount Doom."

“Lord of the Rings” will be featured on the band’s upcoming album Cinemetal, alongside previous releases including “Avengers”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, and “Superman”. With each new release they continue to put their signature metal twist on songs from popular film franchises including Harry Potter, Back To The Future, Batman, and more. Cinemetal is set to be released on October 24th and is available for pre-order now here.

Galactic Empire will be on the road this fall for a series of headline shows, as well as an upcoming tour with Bit Brigade. The band will also set sail to Cozumel, Mexico on the S.S. Neverender with Coheed and Cambria. For a full list of upcoming tour dates, please see below or visit: https://galacticempireband.com/.
