Falne is a mysterious black metal band from Norway that came together in 2022. The duo at includes Cizin, the voice behind the haunting vocals who prefers to keep their identity secret, and Liksluker, the 8-string guitarist, whose real name is Øystein Arnesen.
Although Cizin and Liksluker had been casually playing music together, it wasn't until 2022 that they decided to take their collaboration more seriously. The reason for keeping the band small until now is straightforward—they had trouble finding people who shared both the time commitment and the same values for black metal.
Falne didn't want to compromise on their principles just to have more members. They preferred having a small, dedicated lineup over becoming a band that doesn't truly care about the core values of black metal—a common issue in today's music scene, according to them.
On October 2nd, 2023, Falne released their first single, "Dødens Mellomspill," followed by their debut album “Resurrection of The Fallen” on November 3rd, 2023. Falne is committed to staying true to the essence of black metal as they continue their journey in the extreme music scene.
