Underground Kvlt Records, a sub-label of Odium Records, proudly announces the release of Zmierzch (Twilight), the highly anticipated second album from the Polish one-man project Wesele. Set for release on 25 March 2025, the album delivers a haunting blend of atmospheric and depressive post-black metal, captivating fans of bands such as Furia and Odraza
Wesele is a new yet striking presence in the Polish black metal scene, weaving a sonic experience that blends melancholic melodies, relentless blast beats, and an aura of old-world decadence. The album evokes the spirit of forgotten villages, echoing the haunting imagery of Jacek Malczewski’s paintings, Stanisław Wyspiański’s works, and the wistful tales passed down through generations.
A glimpse into this darkly immersive world can be experienced with the premiere track Tan, available now: https://youtu.be/b6LRamvuo94?si=PIQLK2ueHKDKo84S
Wesele (The Wedding) is the brainchild of Rafal Chruscicki, who conceived the project as a deeply personal and artistically unrestrained venture. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of Młoda Polska (Young Poland), Zmierzch represents a departure from his previous work. It is an introspective and meticulously crafted journey where music, lyrics, and visual art intertwine to form a singular, haunting vision.
Zmierzch will be released on 25 March 2025 and is available for pre-order in CD format at:
