Pronoias announces European tour and tribute to WarCry!

Chilean power metal band Pronoias has just released ‘Quiero Oírte’, a revamped version of the WarCry classic. Funded by the National Music Development Fund, 2026 Call, of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts of the Government of Chile, the project marks the first tribute of their career and the beginning of a new creative phase following the release of their debut album in 2024. The single arrives alongside a music video and coincides with the announcement of the group's first European tour, featuring seven dates across Spain, Finland, and Estonia.

‘Quiero Oírte’ holds a special meaning for the band. “In 2014, while living in Brazil, I rediscovered WarCry's music through the album 'Inmortal', whose opening track is precisely the song chosen for this tribute. Months later I returned to Chile and Pronoias was born,” relates guitarist Félix Barros, leader of the group that, after a decade, pays tribute to one of its main influences while exploring new sounds and updating its musical proposal.

The track was shaped by Félix Barros and Mauricio Catalán, who was in charge of the mixing process. The recording process was mainly carried out in a home studio, following a methodology similar to the one used for the band's first record, but this time incorporating the work of renowned Danish producer Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Epica, Evergrey, Primal Fear, and others), who was responsible for the Stem Mastering.

The visual side also features new elements. The artwork was crafted by Gonzalo Barrientos (@neecroman) and marks the first appearance of “Noia”, the central character in Pronoias' conceptual universe. The band currently consists of Elizabeth Villegas on vocals, Danitza Villarroel on violin, Félix Barros on guitar, and Joaquín Ramírez on drums, taking on their upcoming tour as a four-piece live act.

The release of ‘Quiero Oírte’ lines up with the announcement of Pronoias' first European tour, which will include seven concerts in Spain, Finland, and Estonia. The first show will take place on July 30th at the Honky Tonk venue in Madrid, alongside Sobernot, with free admission until full capacity is reached. “We look forward to meeting the Spanish audience and WarCry fans.
