OSYRON's Album "Foundations" Nominated for Calgary YYC Music Award For Metal Recording of The Year!


Calgary’s Osyron has been nominated for a YYC Music Award For Metal Recording of the Year for their 2020 album "Foundations". The full length was released on July 10th of last year via SAOL/The Orchard and garnered much praise from both fans and industry for its musical diversity and its thought-provoking lyrical exploration of Canadian history and identity, speaking on topics on the country’s colonization to the mistreatment and recognition of Indigenous to the nation’s participation in global warfare.


Osyron is nominated alongside fellow Calgary bands Bloody Monroe, Syryn, Benevolent Like Quietus, Telephone Silence.
