Metalcore pioneers Like Moths To Flames are revered by anyone who has ever dabbled in the genre, as proven by their indisputable longevity of over 15 years in the scene and soaring success as they continue releasing vital and vibrant new music in 2024.
Their new album will make even the finest hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, thanks to the guttural growls and pummeling riffage on their most vicious, ferocious-sounding album. Like Moths To Flames is poised to release their sixth full-length, the career-redefining album THE CYCLES OF TRYING TO COPE, on May 10th via UNFD.
Ahead of the album, the band released their singles PARADIGM TRIGGER, ANGELS WEEP, and Kintsugi.
LMTF has over 400K monthly listeners on Spotify and tens of millions of plays amongst their wide-spanning discography, proving their continued growth in 2024.
The concept album is segmented into four chapters, dubbed LIMBO, FRACTURE, DISSOCIATE, and MELANCHOLIA. These chapters are an intense exploration of the band’s musical arsenal, straddling the ugly and the beautiful in equal measure, while Roetter’s raw introspection pierces the heart of every vicious breakdown or soaring chorus with cathartic power.
Their touring history includes shows alongside Crown The Empire, D.R.UG.S., Hundredth, Texas In July, and more.
“The record encapsulates the many varying emotions we go through when trying to grow through life. The last few years, I really tried to harness some of those emotions as a catalyst to get through whatever I was going through at the time. I think we all have our own unique ways to cope and these are mine.” Chris Roetter, vocalist of Like Moths to Flames.
