This year, the melodic death/thrashers FINAL CRY are celebrating their 35th anniversary and look back on 6 albums and a total of over 10,000 records sold. To mark the occasion, the band will be playing a few selected festival shows in summer (Metal Frenzy, Wipfelbeben, MUR) and some hand-picked club shows before inviting to their own "Anniversary Fest" in Hannover/Subkultur on October 26th, which already promises a worthy billing along with special guests.
As a kick-off to its anniversary year, the band released "The Beckoning Silence", the first video clip of their 35-year career! The song is taken from the current album "The Ever-Rest", which was released in 2022 via MDD Records, and impressively stages the core theme of the concept album with both majestic and dramatic scenes. The live footage used in the clip comes from the show at B58 in Braunschweig on December 9th last year and was recorded by Carsten Brand.
