DEMIDEAD release the Single “REVELATION WITHIN" from the ALBUM "WAR AGAINST OURSELVES"

“Revelation Within“ is an allegory, from the very beginning to the end.

Seems like it is describing the final Bible chapter "Apocalypse" but instead it uses its language to tell how the point of view could change the perception of a same event or feeling.

Something that happens could be seen as either good or bad, what matters is these circumstances is only your perspective.

In fact, the first half of the song sounds heavier and more triumphant while describing the glorious infernal march though the earth, protected by their lord as they're crushing Christians, while the second is more a rageful one. Christians unveil the hypocrisy of the opponent's farce (or at least, they think so) telling them that this will only make them stronger, even if they are forced to suffer these events.

The same event, two antipodean points of view: the first victorious, the second suffering and in deep difficulty, but with appetite for revenge.

The eternal torment of the inner conflict, the fight between the cold logic and the overwhelming sensitivity that marks out everybody's life, if you're aware of it or not, and that pour itself everyday upon the society we live in.

This war is even more harsh for those who suffer from mental diseases and are forced to confront themselves with a demon increasingly more determined to dominate and devour their life.

Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety Disorder are only a few of its forms, still misunderstood by the many.

Demidead explores these dimensions' depths with the resolve of those who don't want to abandon themselves to the tyranny of an inner parasite, of who don't want to be stopped by the fear of the struggle, despite the hardship along the path.

On the brink of their new album, Demidead, from Italy, is upon to unleash a powerful blend of Melodic-driven Death, Nu, Djent and Groove Metal sounds, with the inherit rush of their thrashing past years.

Reborn from its own ashes in 2018 by the founder Danilo Mazzei, counting on Claudio Pisano at the guitar and various members, Demidead was able to reach its first EP in December 2019 with the label GNE Records from Brescia, with a marked Thrash/Prog Metal sound.

After a while the band re-think itself, tending to heavier and more grim sounds, with the arrival of Leonardo Giovanelli at the drums and Davide Pinto at the guitar, and reaching its debut album "War Against Ourselves" on April 2024, via Ad Noctem Records, focusing more on the struggle against mental diseases and inner demons.
