Norwegian noise rockers Daufødt are ready to release their highly anticipated third studio album, Glitter, officially out tomorrow, September 20th, via Fysisk Format. But fans don’t have to wait any longer—Glitter is now streaming in full ahead of its release.

The album serves as Daufødt’s raw and unfiltered reflection on 2024—a desperate cry about the end of times, offset by the absurdity of watching videos of cute dogs. "It's the sound of being hit by a brick, but in a way that makes you look forward to the next blow," the band states.
Spanning an eclectic mix of sounds—from radio-friendly rock hits to blistering punk tracks and sprawling noise rock jams—Glitter captures a band in constant evolution. Following their experimental collaboration on Aromaterapi with Lasse Marhaug, this album offers a punchier, more direct sound while maintaining their signature blend of catchy rock and extreme noise. As Daufødt puts it, "Our biggest fear is making the same album again, and Glitter definitely meets our goal: recognizable, but unpredictable."
Featuring vocalist Annika Linn Verdal Homme, bassist Eskild Myrvoll, guitarist Eirik Albrethsen Reithaug, and drummer Mads Antonsen Gerzić, Daufødt has already made waves in the music scene. Their debut album 1000 Island won the Spellemann Award in 2021, followed by their critically acclaimed second album Aromaterapi in 2022, with performances at major festivals like Roskilde and Øyafestivalen cementing their status as one of Norway’s most exciting acts.
