CRUCIBLE OF HATE to release "The Unknown Path"

CRUCIBLE OF HATE unleash an onslaught of groove death metal in their sophomore album The Unknown Path. The new record explores the challenges of following one's own path in life and finding the inner strength to overcome any obstacles along the way. The Unknown Path will be released on September 1st, 2023.

"March of Truth" kicks off the album with a full assault on the senses. Intense heavy instrumentation and fierce harsh vocals portray the murderous actions of the protagonist in an attempt to free himself and his people from religious tyranny. Following is the high-speed "Brutal Ascension" that showcases conflicting emotions in its narrative; a nation that had been at war for generations has finally achieved victory and found peace. The people then ask themselves: who are we now? Exploring the power of inner strength is "Decimation of the Flesh", with lyrics about facing inner demons and overcoming addiction. A dark mood emanates from thundering percussion, dissonance and descending guitar melodies. The penultimate "Take The Blame" ventures into eerie realms with powerful instrumentation and a dynamic arrangement. "Legacy" concludes The Unknown Path with a ferocious sound that carries a message of personal-growth and changing for the better.

CRUCIBLE OF HATE emerged in 2016 comprised of band members who have roots stretching back into the 90s Ohio metal scene, from black metallers THE CONQUERING through thrashers SKULLBOMB, to melodeath in THE C.O.A.S.T. Drawing musical inspiration from the likes of CARCASS, MESHUGGAH, IMMOLATION, OPETH and GOJIRA, their sophomore album follows the 2018 release Dark Metamorphosis. Over their career CRUCIBLE OF HATE have opened for the likes of SCAR SYMMETRY, ARSIS and IMMOLATION.
